The appointment of senior public officer Mokhtar Mohd Jait to head the Seberang Perai Municipal Council (MPSP) has certainly sparked a crisis within the state Pakatan Rakyat coalition. DAP and PKR local leaders have traded jibes and blamed each other for the controversy.
